1-The Ministry of Ayush held a curtain raiser event for the 7th International Day of Yoga, launching the ‘Namaste Yoga’ app. The Ministry of Ayush, in collaboration with the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, hosted the event (MDNIY).

2- From June 15, Israel will be the world’s first mask-free country.- During the Corona period, Israel will become the world’s first mask-free country. From June 15, the rule prohibiting the use of masks in enclosed areas will be abolished. Israel’s Health Minister, Yuli Edelstein, made the announcement. The country has already eliminated the practise of wearing masks outside.

3- Akshay Kumar has been named as a brand ambassador for MyLab, a biotechnology company.- This news came only days after the Pune-based company released the country’s first COVID-19 self-test kit, “CoviSelf.”

4- India is tied for fourth place with Russia in terms of foreign exchange reserves. According to figures from the Reserve Bank of India, India’s foreign exchange reserves have surpassed $600 billion for the first time.

5-IDFC FIRST Bank has announced the establishment of the ‘Ghar Ghar Ration’ Program, an employee-funded programme for its low-income customers whose livelihoods have been harmed by COVID-19.

6- A professor from IIT Roorkee has won an NSG award for developing a ‘blast-resistant’ helmet. The ‘NSG Counter-IED and Counter-Terrorism Innovator Award 2021′ was given to Shailesh Govind Ganpule, an assistant professor in the mechanical and industrial engineering department (MIED), for designing a “blast-resistant” helmet.

7- The European Space Agency will launch the ‘EnVision’ mission to Venus in 2030. The European Space Agency (ESA) is now constructing its own probe to explore Venus, which will provide a comprehensive view of the planet from its deep core to upper atmosphere.
The “EnVision” mission will most likely be dispatched to the planet in early 2030.

8- 2021- Novak Djokovic wins the French Open Tennis Championship. Novak Djokovic won the French Open for the second time in his career, defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas. With his 19th Grand Slam win, Djokovic has reduced the gap on Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

9- Amartya Sen’s memoir, ‘Home in the World,’ was published as a book. Nobel laureate Amartya Sen, one of the world’s greatest public intellectuals, has written a memoir titled “Home in the World.”

10- World Blood Donor Day is celebrated annually on June 14th around the world. The goal is to raise global awareness of the need for healthy blood and blood products for transfusion, as well as the vital role that unpaid, volunteer blood donors play in national health systems.
